Indra Wilson (They/She) is an emerging Glasgow-based artist who works in contemporary performance, live art, comedy, and dance.

Indra’s community practice uses feminist/queer methodologies to investigate the public health sector, art and activism. Because collaboration is at the heart of their understanding of art as a transformative process, they often collaborate with communities of marginalised identities who their work will affect. Their goal as an artist has always been to blur the line between performance-making and activism. Collaborating with the third-party sector and charity organisations with performance making.

Indra graduated with a BA Honours in Contemporary Performance Practice from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has worked with a range of organisations, including Glass Theatre Company within HMYOI Polmont, Toonspeak, Beacon Art Centre, Scottish Youth Theatre, Platform Theatre Company, Culture Collective, The Village Storytelling Centre, The Tron Theatre and The Prince and Princesses of Wales Hospice.

Indra is also an experienced drama facilitator who has worked across various contexts and is a member of the Youth Board at WonderFools

Indra was nominated for The Herald Education Award for their outstanding contribution to the wider community through their artistic practice and won The Community Artist of the Year award by Framwork Theatre and The Citizens.
